As trustees and directors of the Charity and Ltd Company the Trustee Board fulfills the legal, financial and organisational policy responsibilities for GB England and Wales. 

It provides governance, including strategic and visionary leadership, to The Girls’ Brigade in the fulfillment of its charitable objects. 

It works in an atmosphere of openness and consultation with the Executive Committee, and with the Brigade National Council.
