GB trains all its leaders to be effective and equipped children and youth workers. Our adult leader training course was updated in July 2004, see the Adult Leader Training area of this site for more information.

All leaders are either CRB checked or police checked and supported by the church the company is linked to.

Adult Leadership Training Programme
Adult leaders wishing to become commissioned officers in GB undertake a
basic course called the Adult Leadership Training Programme. It is recommended that officers attend further relevant training at least once every 5 years.

Residential Event Training
Officers wishing to run a camp need to gain an Indoor or Canvas qualification. Residential Event Training is also open to auxiliaries and Warrant Officers.
