The Brigade National Council (BNC) is responsible for appointing the Executive Committee from among commissioned GB England and Wales leaders who have, at some time, served on the BNC.

This committee, as representatives of the BNC

• Provides guidance, evaluation and vision to the movement through regular meeting together, prayer and discussion.
• Offers the Trustee Board experience and views of GB members throughout England and Wales,
• On behalf of the BNC, works closely with the senior staff team and Trustee Board to provide professional skills and experience into GBEW.
• Fulfils various projects as is needful at any time.
• Acts as an advisory group on behalf of the BNC to the Trustee Board, monitoring vision and strategic goals.
• Holds responsibility for the GB Regulations, acting in full consultation with the Brigade National Council,
• Elects the GBEW board of management i.e. the 'Trustee Board'
